The Hope Mills Roadrunners program is young athletes drawn from a broad and diverse range of backgrounds. Many of these children come from underprivileged homes or face developmental challenges such as autism. Additionally, a significant portion of our participants come from military families coping with the complexities of frequent relocations, active-duty parent absences, and unique emotional pressures. Some of our coaches are retired disabled military veterans who bring not only technical sports knowledge but also invaluable leadership, resilience, and life-experience mentorship that greatly benefits our youth.Since 2020, the Roadrunners have expanded from simply providing basketball training to offering a comprehensive, year-round system of support. This includes football opportunities, leadership seminars, professionally guided mentorship classes, athletic training sessions, and a variety of workshops geared toward shaping each participant into a confident, responsible, and capable young adults.HM ROADRUNNERS INC operates as a community-oriented organization structured to support and reinforce positive youth development throughout Hope Mills and the surrounding areas.
